DES MOINES, Iowa — Authorities are reminding residents to be mindful of water on the road and report several roadways closed as a storm passes over the metro.
Several rounds of storms predicted for Iowa this week
The Des Moines Police Department says officers are responding to reports of flooding roadways across the metro due to continuing rains. Officials advise that multiple roadways are temporarily closed, with more impacted by standing water.
At the moment, DMPD reports these closures;
- Dean Avenue from E. 30th St to E. 34th St
- Multiple lanes at Merle Hay Road and Douglas Avenue
