Not everyone believed Caitlin Clark would become the women’s basketball force she is today when she was growing up, but there was definitely talk about her talent in Iowa.
In high school, Clark was a player from West Des Moines who would play two years above her grade and also dominate against boys in youth tournaments. There was significant hype around her, which eventually led universities to offer her scholarships at a very young age.
“It was crazy. So I didn’t really talk to many coaches until my sophomore year of high school. But I started getting recruited like seventh grade,” Clark revealed…
