DES MOINES, Iowa — Heavy rain showers overnight caused some localized flooding impacting metro roads Tuesday morning.
US 6, E. Euclid Avenue, was blocked in both directions between US 69 and I-235 in Des Moines for almost two hours due to flooding. The roadway was reopened at 6:56 a.m. according to the Iowa Department of Transportation.
