Property taxes are due tomorrow.
Dallas County Treasurer Summer Portzen says the last day to pay the first half of property taxes is tomorrow to avoid paying a 1.5-percent monthly penalty that starts the next day.
She points out there are several ways that property owners can pay their taxes, including by credit card or check. Portzen adds that if residents are mailing a check, it needs to be postmarked by tomorrow to avoid late interest charges…
