Storms sweep through Metro Detroit, leaving over 25,000 without power

GROSSE POINTE (WWJ) Brutal storms swept through Metro Detroit, leaving thousands without power and other damage in their wake.

The DTE outage map says over 27,000 customers lost power as a result. Livonia, Wayne and Romulus were among the hardest hit areas.
