YUKON, Okla. (KFOR) – The Yukon Police Department, alongside the Oklahoma City Police Department, says a robbery suspect is behind bars on Thursday morning.
According to authorities, the robber was taken into custody near the convenience store at S. Cornwell Ave. and Vandament Ave. after fleeing on foot and discarding a firearm.
Police say the weapon was located after surrounding areas, including the Spanish Cove Retirement Community, were placed on a brief lockdown.
