EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – Two El Paso residents were arrested after a vehicle pursuit that began with an investigation involving three migrants and ended with an alleged carjacking at a gas station in Fabens last week, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
It happened Thursday, August 27 around 9:15 a.m., Texas DPS troopers and Criminal Investigations Division agents responded to assist U.S. Border Patrol agents in a pursuit of a gray Cadillac CTS heading westbound on Interstate 10 near mile marker 78, according to a preliminary investigation.
A DPS trooper deployed stop sticks in Tornillo, disabling the Cadillac. The driver stopped on I-10 in Fabens, where the driver, identified as 21-year-old Tissiana Anahi Gonzalez of El Paso, and three migrants got out and ran from the vehicle, DPS said.
