NEAR MOUNT VERNON, Mo. (KY3) – A crash involving three tractor-trailers on I-44 killed a truck driver from Texas. The crash happened just before 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, one mile east of Mount Vernon. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the driver of one of the trucks overcorrected, causing it to overturn and hit the other two tractor-trailers. One of the trucks that was hit ran off the highway and hit a ditch, killing the driver, Roberto Carrasco, 67, of El Paso, Texas.
