EL PASO, TEXAS (KFOX14/CBS4) — A community in southern New Mexico came together today to help a sixth grader battling cancer, raising money to support his family as they face mounting medical and travel costs.
Camilo, a sixth grader from Anthony, New Mexico, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. To help his family with medical expenses and the costs of traveling to take him to the hospital, local residents from different organizations organized a fundraising event today.
