Ohio Man Charged With DWI Following Semi-Truck Crash in Ripley

(WNY News Now) – RIPLEY, N.Y. — A two-truck property damage accident in the Town of Ripley led to the arrest of an Ohio man on driving while intoxicated charges, according to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities report that deputies responded to a local business on April 24, 2026, at approximately 8:08 p.m. for a reported collision involving two semi-trucks. During the investigation, officers determined that one of the drivers, identified as 63-year-old Harry L. Clayton II of North Benton, Ohio, was allegedly operating his vehicle while intoxicated.
