EUGENE, Ore. – Police caught a man accused of targeting three delis in three days, ending with an armed robbery and a chase, according to the Eugene Police Department.
EPD officials said 59-year-old Raymond Anthony Wilson of Eugene was arrested after police say he burglarized two delis and robbed a third. The crime spree started at 2:30 a.m. Aug. 27 at Anna’s Deli on Coburg Road, where the manager called police to report a new employee had stolen more than $500 from video lottery machines. Surveillance video showed Wilson taking the money, police said. While police were trying to find Wilson, a second deli reported a burglary at Sandy’s Deli on Barger Drive, which has the same owner as Anna’s Deli.
At 3:27 a.m. on Aug. 28, someone entered the building and stole more than $900. Police identified Wilson as the person who broke in, and he had keys to the building…
