Man arrested for hit and run that killed 25-year-old woman on Highway 252 in Brooklyn Park

BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. — A man accused of hitting and killing a woman on Highway 252 in Brooklyn Park last week will make his first court appearance Tuesday.

Ryan Freeman is charged with one count of criminal vehicular homicide and investigators say he also left the scene after the crash.

It happened on May 19 when court documents say A’miah Armstrong Walker got out of a car during an argument. The driver pulled over and the occupants tried to convince Armstrong-Walker to get back in.
