Schenectady man pleads guilty to federal drug and gun charges

ALBANY, N.Y. (WNYT) – A Schenectady man is facing decades in prison after pleading guilty to multiple federal charges according to the Department of Justice.

According to the DOJ, Emery Moore, 57, admitted he sold cocaine and meth on five occasions from March through July 2025. Moore also admitted to having three guns, 50 rounds of ammunition, and 91 grams of cocaine that he intended to sell. The DOJ says the items were recovered by the DEA after a search warrant.

According to the Department of Justice, Moore is prohibited from having firearms and ammunition under federal law due to previous felony convictions…
