Three people arrested following large drug bust in North Carolina

NORTH CAROLINA — Detectives with the Forsyth County Drug Task Force seized about 33 pounds of suspected methamphetamine and arrested three people following an investigation into suspected drug sales in Winston-Salem, authorities said.

According to investigators, the investigation began May 24 after detectives received information about a large quantity of methamphetamine allegedly being distributed in Forsyth County.

Authorities said detectives identified suspected drug activity at the 100 block of Capitol Lodging Court in Winston-Salem and conducted surveillance at the location. Investigators reported observing activity consistent with narcotics transactions…
