More info released on Pacific Junction attempted murder investigation

(Pacific Junction) — More details have been released regarding the recent arrest of a Pacific Junction man on attempted murder charges.

The Mills County Sheriff’s Office says at around 8:25 p.m. on May 17th, the Mills County 911 Communications Center received a 911 call of two males involved in a physical altercation and allegedly shooting at one another. Authorities say arriving deputies advised that one of the suspects had fled the scene in a vehicle.

The Sheriff’s Office says the offender was identified as 34-year-old Aaron McDaniel of Pacific Junction. During the investigation, authorities say deputies determined McDaniel had been involved in a physical altercation with his brother, Christopher. Subsequently, the sheriff’s office says arrest warrants were filed against McDaniel for attempted murder, a class B felony, assault while participating in a felony, a class D felony, and intimidation with a dangerous weapon, a class D felony…
