NEWARK, Wis.— The Rock County Medical Examiner’s Department identified a Whitewater man who died in a crash in the Town of Newark on May 18.
Erik G. Gonzalez Machuca 33, died following a crash near the intersection of West St. Lawrence Avenue and South Burchfield Road.
According to the investigation, the man was driving a Honda Accord eastbound on W Saint Lawrence Avenue when the vehicle lost control. The car went into the ditch on the north side of the road, rolled over and came to rest on the north side of the roadway. Gonzalez Machuca later died at a hospital…
