Photos: Community remembers DOT supervisor killed on duty

EAST GREENBUSH — Family, friends and former colleagues of state Department of Transportation maintenance supervisor Robert Bornt gathered in East Greenbush to mark the one year anniversary of his death.

Bornt, 54, of Hoosick Falls, was fatally struck by a motorist on Route 7 in 2025 while on the job. He also served as the Hoosick Falls fire chief.
