Voorheesville calls for federal investigation of Norfolk Southern

VOORHEESVILLE — The village of Voorheesville has filed a complaint with the federal Surface Transportation Board, calling for an investigation into Norfolk Southern railroad’s alleged violation of a 2021 settlement agreement with the village.

Michael Booth, a STB spokesman, said the STB has received the complaint from the village but there is no timeline for a decision. He declined to comment on the case.
