North Augusta Department of Public Safety will offer its Citizens Academy to middle and high school students this summer for the first time ever. The one-day program gives teens a shot at learning about law enforcement with hands-on activities.
Middle school students attend on June 29. High school students participate on June 30. The agency has run a 10-week version for adults over several years, but this marks the first time it has opened the course to younger participants.
