Mother of slain infant Emmanuel Haro pleads guilty to involuntary manslaughter, gets 12 years in prison

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, Calif. (TCN) — The mother of 7-month-old Emmanuel Haro has pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and waived her right to a trial.

On May 29, Rebecca Haro, 42, pleaded guilty to one count each of involuntary manslaughter, child endangerment, and being an accessory to murder after the fact, according to KTTV. She was sentenced to 12 years and 8 months in prison.

Haro had reported her son missing on Aug. 14, 2025. She told police she was knocked unconscious while she was changing his diaper in a parking lot and the child was gone when she regained consciousness. An intensive search of the area was launched…
