Police chase ensues after Nashville officers spot passenger possibly being held captive

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A police chase ended in a crash early Monday morning after Nashville officers thought they spotted someone being held captive.

Metro Nashville Police told WSMV4 they attempted to pull over a car just before midnight after spotting someone in the passenger seat who appeared injured and being held against their will.

They tried to pull the vehicle over, police said, but the driver fled.

A pursuit ensued, but it ended after the suspect violently crashed into a retainer wall at near exit 90B of Interstate 65 at Briley Parkway…
