Police: Man Looking For Rival Broke Into Neighbor’s Home By Mistake

A Pennsylvania man is facing burglary and criminal mischief charges after New Castle County Police said he entered the wrong home in Newark’s Robscott Manor community following a dispute earlier in the evening.

Police were dispatched around 1:39 a.m. Saturday, May 30, 2026, to the unit block of Argyle Road for a reported burglary in progress. When officers arrived, they found two individuals involved in an altercation in the front yard of a residence and detained both parties while the investigation unfolded.
