Largest time capsule in state history to be buried at the Ranch in Loveland

A piece of history will find its home in Loveland as the biggest time capsule in the state’s history tours Colorado ahead of a planned burial at the Ranch at the end of the summer.

To commemorate the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States, as well as the 150th anniversary of the founding of the state of Colorado, Visit Loveland began drawing up plans for a time capsule, and the project grew from a small local affair to a statewide celebration.

“Throughout the planning process, we kept thinking more and more about it,” said Charles Lammers, destination marketing manager for Visit Loveland. “Should this be open to the county, should it just be Loveland? We decided, nope, it should be open to everybody.”…
