Fresh off the Louisiana legislature granting the city of New Orleans more control over the state-created Sewerage and Water Board, Mayor Helena Moreno announced the creation of a new advisory group to help the city make better decisions when it comes to water and drainage.
“We need a group of, really, experts in the room, to help kind of advise us as we start to propose these different ideas,” said Moreno.
