ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – A St. Louis woman faces assault charges after police said she cut a victim with a kitchen knife and bit off the end of their pinky finger during an altercation.
Tiara Tompkins faces two counts of first-degree assault, one count of first-degree burglary, one count of unlawful use of a weapon and one count of armed criminal action, according to court records.
According to a probable cause statement, Tompkins arrived at the victim’s house Wednesday, banging on the windows and doors. A physical altercation began as soon as the door was opened.
Court documents said Tompkins entered the house and continued to assault the victim. She grabbed a knife from the kitchen and cut the victim’s face and leg, leaving two large lacerations, according to the probable cause statement.
