California retailer closing after more than 40 years

TURLOCK, Calif. — Minerva’s Furniture here is closing after 43 years of business.

The Turlock, Calif.-based retailer, which was established in the mid-1980s by Carmen and Carlos Sandoval Sr., and later added their daughter and son-in-law, Fabiola Sandoval-Sanchez and Jorge Sanchez to ownership, has announced a going-out-of-business sale.

Wahlquist Promotions is handling Minerva’s going-out-of-business operations at its 331 Sixth St. showroom.
