The Worcester Planning Board has approved a proposal to build 39 units of housing for families consisting only of grandparents and their grandchildren.
The board unanimously voted 4-0 on the plan from Senior Connection, an organization that offers resources for seniors and senior caretakers in Central Massachusetts. Chairman Albert LaValley, along with members Anthony Dell’Aera, Brandon King and Stephen Toomey voted in favor of approving the project’s definitive site plan on Wednesday.
