ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Two men, who reportedly ran from police in a stolen car later hit a pole and a Rockford Police squad car, have been placed under arrest.
According to police, around 11:58 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, undercover officers with the department’s Specialized Community Oriented Police Enforcement (SCOPE) team and their K-9 located a vehicle on Jefferson Street that was wanted after it had previously escaped Winnebago County Sheriff’s deputies.
