SUMNER COUNTY, Tenn. (WZTV) — A 30-year-old Alabama man who traveled to Sumner County to meet a 12-year-old girl he had groomed online and was later found in her bed has been sentenced to 25 years in prison.
Omar Malik Lundy of Alabaster, Alabama, was sentenced this week to serve 25 years without the possibility of parole or early release.
Prosecutors said Lundy first contacted the girl through YouTube, where he posed as a 15-year-old boy after commenting on one of her videos. The two began communicating online and through text messages, and authorities said Lundy eventually began sexually grooming the child, soliciting nude photos and pressuring her to meet in person…
