CINCINNATI (WKRC) – Hebrew Union College has asked a court to dismiss a lawsuit filed by former Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost, arguing the case is an unconstitutional attempt by the government to interfere in the affairs of a religious institution.
The motion, filed Friday, challenges a lawsuit that seeks to overturn the college’s 2022 decision to restructure its rabbinical education programs, including the closure of its campus-based Cincinnati rabbinical program.
