60-year-old Jersey Shore waterfront seafood restaurant returns after 3-year closure

A longtime Jersey Shore waterfront restaurant has reopened with its original ownership group back at the helm.

Inlet Cafe, located at 3 Cornwall St. in Highlands, resumed operations this spring following a closure that lasted roughly three years, according to a Facebook post.

The restaurant has stunning views of Sandy Hook bay, a large outdoor seating area, and an indoor bar.
