(KRON)– A 19-year-old was shot in the face on Sunday night in South Berkeley, according to Berkeley City Councilmember Ben Bartlett.
The shooting occurred near Adeline Street and Ashby Avenue around 11:10 p.m.
When police arrived, they found a woman who had been shot in the face. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
