An automated license plate reader helped Rohnert Park authorities recover a stolen SUV and arrest two men on Monday, including one who allegedly tried to evade officers by running through residential backyards.
The Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety said that on Monday morning, officers received a notification from the Flock automated license plate reader system that a black Jeep Grand Cherokee reported stolen out of Santa Rosa had been detected near Rohnert Park Expressway and Labath Avenue.
