CINCINNATI (WXIX) – The Brent Spence Bridge Corridor commission has announced the scheduled ramp and lane closures set to take effect this summer.
The closures include permanent ramp closures and replacements, as well as lane reductions downtown starting June 28.
- June 28: The eastbound U.S. 50/Sixth Street viaduct to Second Street will permanently close around 10 p.m.
- June 29: The I-75 South exit ramp to Second Street (Exit 1A) will close permanently around 11 p.m. and be replaced with a new ramp to Third Street. A temporary ramp to Third Street will be constructed in the fall.
- July 7: The ramp from westbound U.S. 50/Sixth Street Viaduct to Gest Street will permanently close around 11 p.m. and will be replaced in a future project.
- July 8: The northbound I-71 to Second Street (Exit 1A) will be closed around 11 p.m. and will reopen in fall 2028.
- July 9: Second Street will be reduced to one lane between the Clay Wade Bailey Bridge and Elm Street around 10 p.m. Traffic will remain at one lane until spring 2027.
