More than 11,000 customers are without power in New Orleans and Jefferson parish, according to Entergy, after severe thunderstorms passed through the area early Thursday.
Cleco reported that some 2,700 customers were affected in St. Tammany Parish. Another 13,000 are without power in the Houma area.
