Oklahoma City firefighters help cool semi trailer hauling bees on I-35

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (KOKH) — The Oklahoma City Fire Department responded to a broken-down semi truck full of bees on I-35 on Wednesday.

The semi was hauling bees when it broke down on I-35 near NE 36th Street.

A combination of high temperatures and no airflow to cool the hives led to the bees swarming, and the driver asked crews to help cool them off…
