NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — Residents on Barnwell Avenue said deteriorating road conditions and accumulated debris are creating safety hazards in their neighborhood.
Barnwell Avenue, located off Rivers Avenue on the outskirts of Park Circle, is lined with couches, pallets, shopping carts and dozens of old tires. Residents said the roadside continues to deteriorate with little signage and little light.
