TOLEDO, Ohio — Music, dancing and celebration filled the streets of downtown Toledo Thursday as residents gathered to commemorate Juneteenth with a parade and a day of community events.
The annual celebration brought together people of all ages, many of whom said the holiday is an opportunity to reflect on history, celebrate freedom and pass those lessons on to future generations.
