SC Lowcountry organizations, businesses present $150K in local scholarships

Several South Carolina Lowcountry organizations and businesses aren’t just wishing the Hampton County High School Class of 2026 “good luck” and “best wishes,” they are investing in its future.

During HCHS Senior Awards Day on May 27, graduating students received approximately $150,000 in scholarships from a total of 30 local organizations, including local businesses, various associations, sororities, alumni organizations, and memorial funds. These awards were in addition to scholarships earned from sources outside the region.
