Railroad Crossing Closures Limit Access in Trussville

TRUSSVILLE, Ala. (WBMA) — Several railroad crossings in Trussville remain closed this week as Norfolk Southern conducts work in the area, impacting traffic and access for residents in nearby neighborhoods.

According to city officials, the railroad company has closed the crossings at Camp Coleman Road, Meadowlark Drive, and Bethune Parkway. The closures have affected access for residents in the Camp Coleman and Stockton neighborhoods, with Commerce Drive currently serving as the primary route in and out of the area.
