SOUTH WHITLEY — Residents will soon have expanded grocery options as the local Dollar General transitions to a DG Market format following a weeklong renovation project.
The store closed Saturday, June 20 as changes began being implemented throughout the building. Renovations are expected to be completed quickly, with the store scheduled to reopen Sunday, June 28.
The conversion will shift the store selections from Dollar General’s focus on general merchandise and household goods to DG Market’s greater focus on groceries and everyday food items.
