A California man has received a deferred judgement after a high speed chase in Dallas County earlier this year.
According to court documents, 25-year-old Chandler Hughes was placed on probation for two years, after pleading guilty to a Class D Felony for eluding. The additional charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor, as well as several traffic violations were dismissed as part of the plea agreement.
The charges stem from an incident that happened on March 11 when the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office attempted to initiate a traffic stop on a silver Lexus for traveling at high speeds within the Dallas Center city limits.
