As hard as it is to believe, the Fourth of July is coming up fast and the Fox Valley will be filled with many celebrations to commemorate the 250th anniversary of America’s founding.
For example, Neenah and Menasha’s annual joint festival, CommunityFest, spans two days across key waterfront parks, and is co-hosted by the two cities. This celebration is set to be one of the biggest events of the year.
“The greatest aspect of this event is that it is two community’s joining forces to celebrate the greatest day in this nation’s history with one event,” said Michael Kading, Neenah’s director of parks and recreation. “Rather than being in competition, let’s be in cooperation.”…
