TULSA, Okla – Tulsa leaders say ‘Safe Move Tulsa’ is continuing to make progress in reducing homelessness, with 360 people exiting homelessness since the initiative launched in late 2025.
A major driver of that progress has been the program’s rapid exit strategy, which has helped more than 213 people quickly resolve their homelessness through targeted, short-term assistance. City officials say the effort is helping reduce street homelessness, improve shelter capacity and increase public safety.
The initiative, which launched with a $6 million city investment, has since expanded with an additional $5 million in funding and now aims to help 1,300 people exit homelessness by the end of 2026.
