Strolling through the Reno Rodeo’s Silver Spurs Mercantile, you may just miss a hidden bar.
Located just above the indoor arena’s seating, you’ll notice a orange glowing neon sign that reads “The Doc Bar.” Named after a famous quarter race horse from the 1950s, the bar was created when the indoor arena at the Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center was built in 1987.
