On June 19, officers in the Allen County Sheriff’s Department were met with a rather odd scenario for the police to be handling. They had learned that a baby goat was running on I-69 with no family in sight.
Fortunately, these officers weren’t in the business of giving up and took the animal along with them for a ride while searching for its mom. However, this was only after they had to search the perimeter of the interstate and search for the goat in the brush.
It didn’t appear to be injured or even scared of its situation, allowing Officer Thompson to pick it up and move on. From what I could tell, it looks like Officer Thompson rode around with a friend who had the goat, whom they named Baby G, sitting between his legs…
