Reno-Tahoe International Airport moves employee parking to create more public spaces

RENO, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — As Reno-Tahoe International Airport continues to grow, airport leaders are making another adjustment to parking in an effort to accommodate both employees and travelers.

The airport is relocating some employee parking to a lot on property leased by the Nevada Air National Guard. Airport officials say the move will free up about 200 parking spaces for the public while moving employees closer to the terminal.

“The Reno Tahoe International Airport is very space constrained,” Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority spokesperson Jena Esposito said. “Parking is a challenge for absolutely everyone, employees and passengers included.”…
