After several days of above-average heat, cooler temperatures and gusty winds are expected across the Reno-Tahoe area this weekend.
High temperatures in Reno are forecast to reach 92 degrees Thursday before falling to 81 Friday and the mid-70s over the weekend. Lake Tahoe highs are expected to drop from the low 80s Thursday into the upper 60s by Saturday.
