Though the Cobb County School District is proposing to keep its millage rate flat for the upcoming fiscal year, residents can expect to see an increase in property taxes if the assessed value of their home goes up.
In May, the Cobb County Board of Education unanimously adopted its $1.88 billion budget for fiscal year 2027, which included keeping the millage rate flat at 18.7 mills.
