Need some Labor Day plans, Atlanta? Well we’ve got just the thing for you. Mark your calendar for the iconic annual Marietta Art in the Park festival, returning to Marietta Square for its 40th anniversary!

What is Marietta Art in the Park?

Professionally managed and presented by the Marietta Business Association, Marietta Art in the Park is a stunning annual event known for its high-caliber juried artist market, fun community engagement, and incredible range of things to experience!

Each year, the three-day event draws some 55,000 visitors to enjoy its fine arts and crafts, along with live music and family-friendly activities. And this year, for its 40th anniversary, we’re expecting the best fest to date!

Since 2007, Art in the Park has been honored as a Southeast Tourism Society Top 20 Event, ranked in the Top 100 in the nation in the Classic and Contemporary Craft Shows by Sunshine Artist Magazine, and has earned awards from the Southeast Festivals and Events Association and the International Festivals & Events Association.

What can guests expect at Marietta Art in the Park?

Other than a super fun time out in the community, attendees at Marietta Art in the Park can get excited for:

  • 220+ fine artists from all over the country, including handcrafted goods from a wide variety of mediums, like painting, photography, pottery, graphic arts, sculpture, jewelry, and more
  • daily live art demonstrations by artists
  • Artist Showcase – a special area highlighting additional top-notch art and artists
  • Chalk Spot, the street art experience that allows registrants to create their own masterpiece
